Summary

Forza Fly & Flow Yoga’s 200-hour Teacher Training Program is a foundational program rooted in Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga (8 limbs). It contains information and insight from many different types of yoga, with an emphasis on Vinyasa style yoga.

This training provides students with the knowledge, confidence, practice and experience to become inspiring and creative teachers.

This training is open to all levels, from beginner to advanced, who would like to deepen their own personal practice, teach others the beautiful gift of yoga, for personal growth, or all three.

The program is offered through Forza Fitness in partnership with Yoga Alliance.

Program

Forza Fitness is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance.  Upon completion, a Certificate will be given and then you may apply for registration with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200-hour level. (RYT 200). This program exceeds the minimum standards set forth by Yoga Alliance.

There will be in-person contact and off-site hours, written homework, reading and physical practice and application. Contact hours are earned through attendance and non-contact hours are in the form of written homework, reading, self-inquiry and self- study.

The program covers:

  1. Teachniques Training and Practices
  2. Teaching Methodology
  3. Anatomy and Physiology
  4. Yoga Philosophy / Lifestyle Ethics for Yoga Teachers
  5. Practicum, including practice teaching

Students will be instructed in:

  1. Asanas
  2. Meditation
  3. Philosophy
  4. Anatomy and Physiology
  5. Teaching Methodology
  6. Personal Growth

Schedule

Our training is scheduled for Fall/Winter 2017/2018. The course includes home practice, practice teaching hours, an exam and graduation, culminating in certification.

Certification

To receive a certificate of completion from Forza Fly & Flow Teacher Training Program, students must meet the program requirements as outlined in the materials they will receive. Students must pass the exam, complete all homework satisfactorily and meet attendance requirements. To learn more, come to a Meet & Greet, scheduled several times prior to the program start. Requirements

To take part in this training, you must have practiced Yoga for at least 6 months.

Cost

Tuition for the entire course is $3,200 if registered and paid in full by September 1, 2017. After September 1,  tuition will increase to $3,500.

A $500 deposit is required to apply and will be refunded if you’re not accepted into the program.

Lorelle Cicitta, Forza Fitness Owner
Aerial Teacher

Lorelle Cicitta, founder of Forza Fitness, offers the only Aerial Yoga studio in her area of New Jersey. She is certified through the Yoga Alliance.

A four-year varsity athlete, former bodybuilding competitor and personal trainer for seven years; Lorelle fell in love with yoga three years ago because it was the only thing that calmed her wandering mind. On a trip to St. Petersburg, FL, Lorelle tried Aerial Swing Yoga. After coming up from the only inversion in the hammock of the class taught as a Vinyasa, she immediately decided it was missing from the Jersey Shore and was needed at her studio. Lorelle has cultivated an aerial class that combines her experience and knowledge of fitness and that welcomes all types of bodies. The only requirement is an open mind and gentle spirit.


Erin Simonelli Peluso, E-RYT 
Primary Teacher

Erin Peluso, co-leader with Lorelle Cicitta, draws upon her knowledge from training in Sivananda Yoga, Yogaworks (combination of Ashtanga and Iyengar) and Tantra Yoga, as well as many workshops attended over the 13 years she has been teaching.

Erin is a sought-after Yoga teacher and wealth coach for Yoga teachers. She combines years of Yoga studies, yoga teaching, health coach certification, certification as a Passion Test Facilitator plus a Bachelors in Marketing Management into life-changing programs and trainings.


Joell Lanfrank, E-RYT 500
Assistant Teacher

Joell Lanfrank loves teaching mixed level classes throughout Ocean County. She completed her 500-hour teacher training with Sondra Loring and Raghunath Cappo at Sadhana Yoga, Hudson, NY, where she learned the beauty of Bhakti Yoga and developed a love for Kirtan. She keeps her classes fun and a place where anyone can be totally comfortable, no matter where they’re at in their physical practice.
